The role of the Public Works committee is defined in the GSPC Bylaws in the following manner:
"to maintain continuing liaison with the County
Department of Public Works and with the State Department of
Transportation to become knowledgeable of plans and capital projects in
the areas of roads, traffic engineering, wastewater and storm water
management, and major highway construction in order to advise the
Council, and recommend actions as necessary.
It meets on an "as needed" bases to discuss public works projects that affect the greater Severna Park area. Its current chair is Dan Nataf.
